What a blast I had taking my previous assistant from Stanley Korshak across Dallas to find him his first place. Nothing is more fun than shopping with friends, and Michael and I had years of experience with that situation! We ran a huge men’s sportswear business at SK, had remarkable success with the growth of the business, and we were just as tenacious in finding his new home. This relationship does not stop with the sale. I will make sure to continue to assist him with resources, contractors, and design collaboration (he must stay in budget), and to enjoy this time together. And a special thanks to his dear father!
Stay tuned for his before and after photos. He has and incredible eye. Read about him below and to my shoppers, go visit him at Valentino. He has impeccable taste and he holds no reserve if the look will knock you down a notch with your crowd. He will find the most amazing frock for you. Truly.

From Michael:
“During my tenure as a visual manager and visual director at Giorgio Armani, Loro Piana, Escada, and Robert Graham I learned a lot about shop design, lighting, color stories, and floor plans. It takes a keen eye to interpret the designer’s runway point of view into a retail location. I take this approach as I redesign my new condo. It first begins with the floor plan, from there we set the mood: lighting, flooring, and wall color. Finally, we add the furniture and decor. Each space has its own vignette telling a story, creating a welcoming environment for entertaining or a quiet area to relax. I prefer clean simple lines, and a minimalist approach, a Mies Van der Rohe sofa, Eames chairs, slate or hardwood floors, and earth tones to create the setting. To keep things from being too serious, my go to is the Dutch Design house Droog. "We treat serious matters in a playful way." One of my favorite items is the Droog Milk Bottle Lamp. Incorporate all these ideas and a voilà, home sweet home.
I was born in the suburbs of Chicago, joined the US Military at 19 for 3 years as a tank driver, stationed in Ft Knox KY, South Korea, and finished at Ft. Carson CO. I've lived in Dallas, this my second time, San Francisco, and Manhattan. “ ~Michael
