March 15, 2017 Suzanne Warner

Stanley Korshak and 505 Ranch Club of Cedar Creek Presented EXPOSED, benefitting AIM at Melanoma Foundation

On Thursday, March 2nd, Stanley Korshak and 505 Ranch Club of Cedar Creek presented EXPOSED, a night of fashion and fundraising for AIM at Melanoma Foundation. The night was in memory of Bobby Boulogne, former COO of Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, who lost his battle with melanoma last year.

The night was hosted at Stanley Korshak and began with cocktails and appetizers from Dean Fearing, Dolce Riviera, the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, Hotel Crescent Court, Capital Grille, Glass Vodka and fine wines hand selected by Harris Polakoff, owner of Pogo’s Wine and Spirits. DJ Lucy Wrubel performed as guests mingled and bought tickets for the raffle. The raffle items consisted of a 20k yellow gold pair of earrings from Coomi Jewelry, valued at $9,800, and two front row tickets to the Spring/Summer 2018 Hellessy fashion show in NYC during New York Fashion Week. Crawford Brock, owner of Stanley Korshak, invited the 400+ guests upstairs for a seated fashion show. He then expressed his admiration and respect for Bobby Boulogne before introducing Suzanne Warner, Chair, and Jamie Jo Boulogne, Honorary Chair. Both shared their passions for raising awareness and funds for melanoma research via EXPOSED.

A video then played a touching tribute to Bobby Boulogne, which was followed by the fashion show.

Directed by Bret McKinney, Stanley Korshak's Director of Visual Merchandising and Fashion Presentation, the fashion show featured men's and women's clothing, including a variety of casual, evening, and swimwear looks. MC Scott Murray then introduced Dr. John Kirkwood, who is on the Board of Directors for AIM at Melanoma Foundation. Kirkwood spoke to the seriousness of melanoma skin cancer and was presented with a check by the president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Dallas/Fort Worth, Frank Obringer. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage CARES gave a $5,000 donation to Aim at Melanoma Foundation. Just when guests thought the event was coming to an end, bartenders came down the runway, serving wine and champagne from Pioneer Wine Company while setting the mood for the live auction.

Three live auction categories were presented: Art, Fashion, and Travel - all of which were passions of Bobby Boulogne's. The art package was curated by John Runyon of Runyon Fine Arts, and included a visit to John Holt Smith studio where winners will choose a painting of their liking, with transportation and installation covered by Displays Unlimited, FAS. Also, included will be specialty transportation to Joe T Garcia's with complimentary lunch and margaritas for 10.

With the fashion package, the winners will also have the opportunity to select His and Hers Kiton Made-to-Measure outfits., a dinner for four at Dolce Riviera in Dallas with Stanley Korshak owner Crawford Brock, along with a tour of the Kiton factory with Stanley Korshak buyers in Naples, Italy.

Winners of the travel package received two nights and dinner for two at three prominent Rosewood hotels: Rosewood London, Rosewood Beijing, and The Carlyle, and two tickets to the US Open- courtesy of SUPERGOOP!

Other sponsors included At Home, Time Matters Entertainment. Special thanks to the physicians: Dr Jennifer Cather, Dr Clay Cockerell, Dr Lance Cowey, Dr Peter Malouf, and Dr. Thornwell Parker III.

Guest included Brooke Hortenstine, Elizabeth Tripplehorn, Kimberly and Peter Malouf, Jonika Nix, John Runyon, Sunie Solomon, Anne and Steve Stodghill, and Tia Wynne.

EXPOSED raised well over $100,000, with 100% of the proceeds going to AIM at Melanoma Foundation.
