The next James Bond now has a much more stylish maritime ride: the 37-foot Aston Martin AM37 powerboat, just unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show this week. The new day-cruiser — offered in two versions — marks the iconic British motoring brand’s thrilling entry into the nautical world. The gorgeous powerboat is everything you’d expect from a luxury automaker that has been Bond’s sports car of choice for over five decades. Clean, sleek lines. The latest technology. Bespoke craftsmanship. According to Matthew Clarke, general manager of marketing and communications for Aston Martin in The Americas, “the AM37 is intended as a translation of our brand DNA into a maritime concept.” The idea, he says was to challenge the status quo.
